EBB
DESCRIPTION: Ebb is a flowing installation of sculptural porcelain "pods", in bespoke designs of shifting and twisting, ebbing and flowing arrangements. Fixed directly to the wall surface; the walls become the art work.
NB. We are awaiting images of recent and current installations to show the real potential of Ebb installations, along with the bespoke range of finishes we have worked on.
IDEAL SETTING:
Ebb has been designed especially for very large walls or spaces where wall art needs to flow with the walls (rather than restrict with conventional fixed-shape panels) like stairways, atriums, tall, curved or very long walls. A group of Ebb pods give textural interest, even from a distance in large spaces.
NOT SUITABLE: For any outside area or on low down walls where the sculptural forms can be knocked.
SHIPPING: Easily packed and crated for worldwide shipping.
TRADE PRICING:
Ebb pods come in four sizes from Extra Small (12 cm long) to Large (24 cm long) and, as a rough guide, no more than about 10 pods in a square metre is about right. The larger the space, the less are required per square metre because space in between clusters works well. Typically, an installation costs from approx. £2,400.00 - £6,000.00 per square metre of wall.
Layout designs are bespoke, but for smaller installations and for when time is limited, we shall soon have some set designs available to purchase.

Extra Small - £358.00 each ex VAT

Medium - £515.00 each ex VAT

Bespoke installations
Unless the installation is small and on a single flat wall, bespoke layout designs are best.
Colour and finish options
Milton Bridge glazes have worked with us to develop bespoke glazes exactly to our specification for the right effect on our pods. They work well combined together or alone.
Soft white.
Ebb pods are cast in fine china clay and then glazed in a beautiful gentle white glaze with a very slight, soft sheen.
Graded Persian green.
The same all over glaze is stained with Persian green, graded from darker on mini pods to lightest on large pods.
Metallic.
Bespoke metallic glazes are applied to the flat face of pods in gold, copper or platinum.
Bespoke colour.
Milton Bridge will make up any Pantone colour with our beautiful base glaze described in number 1. For bespoke colour, an installation of over 50 pods is required.
Fixing and layout
Ebb installations are supplied with actual size layout charts, detailed written instructions and all fixings. They require just one wall screw per pod. In case of breakages, the wall fixing plate design ensures replacement pods are placed in the same position.
